this perl script was written to allow website visitors to view and post photos onto the web. in addittion to the picture, the user can provide a description of the photo that will be displayed beside the photo. the script has single and multiple album capabilities with an unlimited number of photo albums. web site visitors are allowed to choose the number of images displayed on each page. in addition web surfers can choose to see just the descriptions, thus speeding up the performance. for security, this script allows you to restrict the file size and the file types allowed to be posted. it also has optional password protection for the posting section. finally, the files posted are checked for their file type to prevent the posting of misnamed or malicious files.
