BadPassKiller is a simple to use program which will log and track all people that attempt to access your members only areas and use false passwords, such as brute force hacking programs, which could damage or slow down your webserver. When the failed number of attempts coming from one certain IP exceeds a limit you set, BadPassKiller will automatically block that IP from accessing your entire website.

An easily configurable script that will check a password (unencrypted) and send the surfer to your content page or to another page that you specify for entering the wrong password.
After hours of searching every Perl Archive on the planet and not finding a single Cookie based login/signup system, I decided to build my own. Features include, full automated signup/login admin panel lets you remove members, email a paticular member or email all members. Another great thing about this is that it is easyly upgradeable by just adding another script.
csPassword is an automated system for creating and maintaining apache style .htaccess files to password protect website directories. Add, Modify, Delete password protection to any directory on your server. No limit to the number of directories the script can be used on. Central Administration done through the web browser.
This script creates and/or updates the .htaccess and .htpasswd files for securing directories. Use it over and over again - add as many secured areas and/or users as us like. For use on a Unix flavor OS running an Apache web server. It has not been tested or known to work on anything else, so it probably won't!
